Getting a sexy and flat stomach is something we all dream of. For most it will continue to be just a dream. But with some dedication and the right lower abs workout, you can get the body you’ve always dreamed of. That may be a bold claim to make but I’ve done it and have seen many others do it by following these workout exercises as well.
Supine Reverse Crunches – This is an extremely effective exercise that not many others even know about. Lie on your back with your hands under your bottom.
Lift your legs vertically and bend them at the knees to ninety degrees. Contract your abs tightly. Keep your knees at this angle and slowly lower your feet until they are just a few inches off the ground. Now simply bring your knees up toward your chest and squeeze your abs very tightly.
Do as many reps as you can.
Side Turns – A favorite lower abs workout of mine. Again, not an overly used exercise – but it should be. Lie on your back with your feet up in the air right above your hips. Keep legs straight or slightly bent. Put arms out to the side with palms down, touching the floor. Never lift your back off the floor.
Keep the core of your abs drawn in very tightly. Turn your legs and feet sideways toward the floor. As soon as your palm starts to leave the floor it’s time to stop rotation and start rotating the other way. Continue doing this for as long as you deem necessary.
For added complexity try adding ankle weights or another form of resistance.
